Steven,
I don't know about anyone else, but Vermont is doing it.
Please visit "Vermont in the Civil War,"
http://wwww.geocities.com/Pentagon/1861/vt-cw.htm, and check the
Descendants page.
Although not an official part of VTGenWeb (I am a VTGenWeb county
coordinator as well), most of the VT GenWeb county and town sites
offer links to this site.

Can someone point me to a list, site or area where one can list their
Civil War "soldier" ancestors? I have seen plenty listing officers and
general troop info but nothing for the soldiers who fought the battles!
I wanted to list mine from Sampson county, NC.
