Subject: [VTGEN] Vermont Historical Gazetteer 5 Volume Index Online
This is just a note to let you know that I have put a transcibed copy
of
the 5 Volume Vermont Historical Gazetteer combined index online.
NAME INDEX (982 pages) and
SUBJECT INDEX (132 pages)
Online is a rich text (rtf) and html format versions. It is in ten
100-page sections which are somewhat bulky at 2Mb each html version and
500kb for the rtf copy. I will be breaking them down to make them more
manageble.
I am still working on proofing it but I thought that we could begin to use
the data from it.
I do not think that the website search engines have catalogued it yet so
you may have to just browse for data.

Let me know if there any problems or suggestions.
