Greetings:
Today, here in the U.S., flags are back at full staff and life is beginning
to return to a semblance of normalcy for most of us. For those who lost
loved ones and friends in the 911 Atrocity, of course, "normalcy" won't
mean what it means to the rest of us.
My son is now in his third week of Navy Boot Camp, which also seems a whole
lot different to me than when I dropped him off at the Recruiting Office
September 3.
My prayers and best wishes to those who have been affected the most. May we
turn our hearts back to the One so many of us have been asking to bless
America, not so that we can get His approval after we decide what to do --
but so that we can act as He would have us act, and so that we can be the
nation He would have us be.
In keeping with the general tenor of the President's encouragement to all
Americans, I am now returning the lists that I admin on RootsWeb to their
usual focus: the genealogy of the place, or surname, to which the list is
related. RootsWeb, by the way, has set up some lists and boards that are
related to the recent events. If you have trouble finding them, get back to
me and I'll look them up for you.
