Hi Barb,
Thank you so much! I am glad to see that I am not the only person who
questions whether periods and commas should be used after urls. When
writing reports, I typically enclose them inside of < >. But, the space
allowance for slender brochure lines, combined with lengthy urls, doesn't
really allow for the extra marks. I have removed them from the brochure.
I have the web address under "For Vermont History and Genealogy" on the
first page - I think - at least the way that I tried folding the brochure.
Is the page with the VTGenWeb and logo picture at the top the front page, or
am I mistaken?
I am in your debt.

Hi Ann,
Great job - like Paul, very minor "thoughts".
1. If you have room to make the web address under " For Vermont History and
Genealogy" on the first page, that would make it more visible.
2. I have stopped using periods (in sentences) after web addresses - eg
http://usgwarchives.net/vt/vtfiles.htm. If one copies the whole thing,
including the period, the link wont work........
How's THAT for "nit-picking"?? ;-) Nice brochure! Barb

Hi Paul,
You are so kind for taking the time to do this!!!
I made the changes that you suggested, and posted the updated .pdf. You
were absolutely correct! As soon as I enlarged the page 1 icon, I
realized
that it had, indeed, been disproportionately small. Thank you so much!
If you see anything else, or have any other suggestions, please do fire
away. I honestly will NOT be upset by criticism. It is certainly
superior
to discovering, too late, that there was a glaring problem and it has
already been seen by everyone else. ;-)
With gratitude,
--Ann

Hi Ann,
Are you sure you want me to proof read your brochure? haha
I did go over it with a fine tooth comb and could only come up with a
couple
minor suggestions.
Other than that, you did a really great job, really professional look.
On page one, I think the USGenWeb icon could be a little larger and on
page
2, the USGenWeb icon should be
centered within that column and that's it.

Hello Everyone,
The states have been asked to submit brochures which could be handed out
at
genealogical conferences, etc.
I have tried to put together a tentative brochure for VTGenWeb. It is
currently posted
at [
1]http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~vtgenweb/Brochure2-VTGenWeb.pdf .
If
you have free moment, and do not mind doing so,
I would truly appreciate any input - Like? Don't like? Suggestions?
Typos?
Thank you so much!
With appreciation,
