Hello,
My name is Kyle Berger. I am in the 7th grade at Lake Harriet Upper
Campus Middle School, Minneapolis, MN. I am emailing you this from my
mom's computer at work.
I am doing my National History Day Project on Nat Turner's rebellion. I
am wondering if there is any possibility of getting some primary sources
directly from any museums there. I am looking for any direct
information about Nat Turner and the trial.
Since the theme this year is "Rights & Responsibilities", I am
interested in this subject and the effect on the rights of the slaves of
the south.
My mother is originally from a southern state and my great grandmother's
ancestors can only be traced back as far as New Orleans. My father's
ancestoral history includes General Meade who fought in the Civil War.
Could you help me in any way? You can email me at this address or at my
dad's email at home, rjberger(a)aol.com.
Thank you very much for reading this.
Kyle Berger
