Over the years, lots of people have given me links to their research so that
I could share with the Louisa, VA site. As time goes by,
priorities/finances/health/etc. change and the links are broken and the
research isn't helping anyone. I started grabbing the actual webpage and
keeping a copy on my PC - just in case.

Our National Coordinator of the USGenWeb Project say to tell your
coordinators to make sure that they always retain a current backup copy of
their sites on their computers and on a flash drive so they have another
source in the event of their computers taking a dump.
This advice is especially important to those whose pages are still on
Rootsweb. but all CCs should make a practice to do this.
