Hello Nola,
I believe I conform to the, Thomas Anderson line, along with Peter
Francisco (Buckinham Co.), Capt Henry Hobson, and Capt James Anderson.
Additionally, I have several direct ancestors of Virginia: Woodson, Green,
Randolph, Bacon, Hopson, Inman, Lewis, Clark, Gordon, Tucker, ALLEN, Parke,
Rhea, Pryor, Morris, Austin, Moses, Stewart, Kimball, Everett, Deckard
(Dercherd), Spyker, Pierce, Moore, Jefferson, Washington to name a few.
Some I have found back landing in 1623. Most of my research now
concentrated from approximately 1800 and eariler. Many are in early VA
County formations of which today are accross county lines. Of course
several are listed by DAR, SAR, DRT, etc.
I have many great books on Virginia. I have most all the land patent
books (Purse and Persons), SW Virginia, Cavilers and Pioneers, Marriage and
vestry books, Augusta Co., and the list goes on. When I said. " I owe you
one" for putting up with me, this is whart I meant. If you need me to
perform some lookups for you, and even for your personal research, I would
be more than happy to. I have yet to look formuch information on Buckingham
that I could present, same goes with Dinwiddie. Apparently, you get to
Clayton once in awhile? I do occassionally, mostly for old newspapers, but
I have most of my material at my fingertips.
Sincerely,
Douglas Anderson

Douglas,
I am always interested in finding which families someone is researching -
just in case we might have common interests.
Are you by chance from the Anderson Iron Works line? I don't have a direct
connection but it is of interest to me in my Pegram research.
Nola
