they make this external hard drive thing, what they do is take your old
hard drive in this thing that looks like a cd player and you can plug it into
a usb port and you can access your old data.
i did it when my old computer died. although most of the stuff is ROM but
you can go into the word program lets say and open the document and then
save it to the new hard drive and then u can play with it.
