Do any of you subscribe to the Southside Research that this woman is speaking
about below? I'd like to help her out, but I don't subscribe myself, nor do I
think I know anyone who does. Do any of you know about a delay in publishing
or if this has been corrected yet?
Thanks in advance,
Tracy

Hi Tracy,
I don't know if you are in Pr. Edw. Co. - specifically Farmville, but I am
hoping you are and will be able to answer my question.
I have been a subscriber to the SOUTHSIDE RESEARCHER published by the HURAK
Publications, P.O. Box 802, Farmville, VA 23901, Pamela G. Hurak, editor and
publisher. The e-mail address is: ResearchVA(a)juno.com.
I received the four issues of Volume 1, 1997, and resubscribed for 1998. I
received Vol.2 Issue 1. There was a message from the editor - "Due to some
unforseen delays early this year, we have regrettably gotten behind inour
issue dates. In order to correct this situation and get back on course, mail
dates for the 1998 issues have been adjusted. The Summer 1998 issue will mail
May 15; Fall 1998 on July 31; and Winter 1998 on October 23.."
To date I have not received any further issues other than Vol.2, Issue 1. I
have sent two e-mail inquiries as to the problem and have received no answer,
nor did the e-mails bounce back to me. I called information and requested the
phone number but was told that the number was unlisted and not permitted to be
given out.
I don't know what to do next, and just had the thought that if you were in the
Farmville area, you might know what happened to this publishing company, or
know to whom to refer my message .
Hope to hear from you.
Sincerely,
Mary Kanta <mckanta(a)aol.com
