Good show, Angie. Which brings me to a proposition I was gonig to make to
you anyway.
We have just received an open invitation from the editor, Carla Ridenour,
of the National Genealogical Society Computer Interest Group (NGS/CIG)
Digest to submit USGenWeb articles for publication in their newsletter.
They carried an article I wrote in the September-October issue, which you
can view at:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~vaaugust/ngs-cig.html
if you haven't seen it already. The next issue will carry an article
written by Linda Lewis on the USGenWeb Archives. And Pam Reid is scheduled
to do one on her Tombstone Project.
Linda and I think a timely topic for another issue would be something
written by you on your Marriage Bonds project. How about it?
Don't know if you are a member of NGS and a regular recipient of their
newsletter or not, but they typically carry reiviews of genealogical
software and new technologies. If you are willing to undertake this, both
Linda and I are willing to lend helping hands by offering suggestions for
input and reviewing your article.
Let us know, and we can approach Carla about length, timing, etc.

Marilyn Headley and I have been working hard to get this little sneak
preview up for all the Rockbridge researchers before Christmas. There's
more to come on this site in 1998, and much improvement is fortcoming.
Please excuse the mess, but this is an alpha version of:
ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY, VA MARRIAGE BONDS AND CONSENTS scanned from
the original court documents.
Enjoy.
