The Alexandria Library, Special Collections has among its microfilm
holdings 5 reels from the National Archives entitled: Naturalization
Petitions filed in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of
Virginia, Alexandria, 1909-1920. Staff have been abstracting them into
an index and the first of the five reels has been completed and is
available online. This group of petitions were from soldiers at Camp
Humphreys, now Fort Belvoir, who were naturalized in July and September,
