Thanks, Linda. I have a link to the archives for the county but it is
missed by many so will just add a link to each census and perhaps reduce
queries I receive. :)
I was just asked by a CC if she could use the missing people of her county
on her own site. My answer was yes. If anyone wishes to use a county for
their own county site, it is fine with me.
If you wish to see the missing pages, you'll need to ask NARA. The person
to contact is Kristopher Johnson, archivist at NARA. Tell Kristopher which
county and give the page numbers. One of the subscribers to the Shenandoah
Co list talked to her by phone. I tried using email to another archivist
and got a reply on how to obtain census records. The phone number is on the
NARA site somewhere. I can't recall exactly where.
