Subject: Looking for the Family of John N. Lee
Dear Editiors,
I know its too late for the current Rootsweb Review but here goes.....
King 5 News, Seattle, Washington had a story on January 2nd about the
Department
of Revenue auctioning off the contents of unclaimed safety deposit
boxes.
One
safety deposit box contained a footlocker chocked full of family
pictures
and
momentos of a Mr. John N. LEE. He was an investment banker and died
in
Seattle.
He was born in 1896 in Richmond, Virginia. He was married to a woman
named
Lydia and they had three sons, but I only know two of the names.
They
are
Douglas LEE and John B LEE. If this gentleman is a relative of
yours
and you
want to lay claim to this footlocker please contact Mr. Pat Tate of
the
Washington State Department of Revenue, 360-753-5531. The auction will
be held
at James G. Murphy and Co., 18826 68th Ave NE, Kenmore, Washington.
425-486-1246. Their website is
www.murphyauction.com. Click on Auction
Schedule, thenTreasures From the Past for more information. A picture of
the
footlocker is displayed. The news story is located at

Good luck,
