Well, you can count me out - I don't drive in that direction except in life
or death matters!!!!! <g>
Also, it would be hard for others in VA to get to - time wise, etc.

That is a shame that Linda can't make it. Looks like it is a problem
for me. Since Linda can't come, maybe we should just wait and do it
another time. I would love to meet you all, but maybe it can do it in
Northen VA after school starts. What does everyone think?

I think with all the change of plans and Linda's not being able to make it
that we should call the dinner off. If anyone wants me to arrange something
in the future, let me know. I think it would be a great idea to get
together. Maybe we could plan something with about a 2 month notice to give
everyone the opportunity to arrange their schedules.
What do you think?

Some plans have changed. I left your # at my aunt's house. It looks like
I'll
be leaving Richmond in the morning (Sunday a.m.) and going back to Orange. I
have my granddaughter with me and have to get her back home.
This is my friend's MAC, and I really don't like using it. LOL!
Lost without my computer and regular e-mail acct.
I hope the few of you can still get to gether, but I'll have to make it
another time. :( Thanks for setting it up.

Re "Maybe we could plan something with about a 2 month notice"
Since my highly paid social director usually gives me at least a weeks notice,
I think I could block out something that far in advance!!

Judith,
Marilyn is still working on coming. She now thinks her guests may be
gone by that time and she'll make it. :) I may not know for sure until
we get there.

Hi Judith,
I am not sure that I can come. Still trying to work out the details.
My husband is working until midnight. My oldest daughter has to work
until 8:30 and I have two little ones. My babysitter has been out of
town and I haven't been able to reach her. I need someone to watch the
two little ones and who can also pick up Brittany at work. I will let
you know for sure by tonight.
What is the address of the restaurant?

I originally made the reservation for 6 - we are now 7 - is anyone bring
spouse, etc.?

Judith and others who are coming to the dinner:
Here are the directions I was sent. I am coming from the west on I-64
(headed East). These directions were given with me in mind. :) If
anyone needs them from another direction, let me know and I'll ask
Marilyn if she can provide those. :)

Hi Gang,
I'm sorry to bother you, but I seem to have lost the thread on this dinner.
Is / was the dinner this weekend (8/22) or next weekend (8/29). I just
decided a few hours ago to visit my parents in Louisa Co. next weekend, so if
I happen to be in the same state at the right time, I would like to try and
attend.
Thanks,
Wayne Dunn

Great - I could probably come up with something, but I live east of
Richmond....

Judith,
Count me in. I just emailed someone in Richmond for directions. If she
sends them to me, I'll pass them on.

Place: Crab House
4040-B Cox Road (in Innsbrook which is in the far west end of
Richmond
(804) 270-3555
Date: Sunday, Aug. 23. 1998
Time: 6 PM
I have never been to The Crab House, but Linda wanted seafood - they also
have non seafood dishes, I am told. Dress can be casual.
I need to know exactly how many are coming as below 6 does not require
reservations.
Innsbrook is accessible from I-64 but as I haven't been there I don't have
directions. I will see if I can get directions from the restaurant and
email them as soon as I know who's coming.

Oh, I hope I can come. Richmond is only about an hour and half's drive
from here, but I am not sure if I have a babysitter. Once a firm date
is decided on, I will see what I can do.
