Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I'm here :~)

I haven't heard from any of you from our new list, even though my test
message went through last night, as well as a request for you to make
URL changes.
Is anyone getting this?
Linda
As you notice, we now have a new mailing list for VAGenWeb. Replies go
back to the sender, and not the list, although I will change that.
To get you up-to-date on what's happening with USGenWeb's server, I'll
explain some here, and forward anything Megan will send out.
Basically, following the snowstorm, the servers were moved from Nebraska
to Idaho. (the snowstorm was not the reason.. it was a planned move)
There have been glitches in getting usgenweb.com hooked up and back
online, so Brian Leverich, of Rootsweb, offered to help.
So... the main USGenWeb pages, formerly housed at DSenter.com (now not
hosting genealogy pages) will reside on the Rootsweb server.
Also gone (maybe permanently) are the usroots.com mailing addresses -
like my linda(a)usroots.com - are not working.
NOTE: ******* These changes need to be made:
Any links you have to the main USGenWeb page must be changed to:
http://www.usgenweb.org (www.usgenweb.net also works)
If you have the redirect route link to any of the XXGenWeb pages, they
need to change to: http://www.usgenweb.org/XX
VAGenWeb can be http://www.rootsweb.com/~vagenweb or use
http://www.usgenweb.org/va
If you have my e-mail address as linda(a)usroots.com, change that to:
cityslic(a)ix.netcom.com
The usgenweb-all-l(a)rootsweb.com has been working all along. If you are
on any other XXGenWeb mailing lists, xxgen-l, they will also change to
XXGEN-L(a)rootsweb.com once the state coordinators get their county
coordinators subbed. I hope I got everyone from VAGenWeb subbed here.
Good news - I'm coming to VA Nov. 12 - 19. :)
I have missed all of you, and so glad we have a mailing list again.
Karen Isaacson, Brian's wife, worked tonight during her "coffee break"
to set up 52 lists! <g>
