I have sent an email to Joy Fisher of the Archives Project to see how we
could possibly help with these two projects. I know that many people have
volunteered their time and efforts over the years for these projects and
that they truly need more volunteers.
I am hoping that Joy will get back to me and let me know how we might be
able to help her with these projects.
In order to assist, please contact one of your advisory board
representatives and give them the below information. Your current AB Reps'
contact information can be located here:
http://www.usgenweb.org/about/advisoryboard.html
Please let them know the following, if you would like to assist:
1. Are you currently a volunteer in one of these two projects?
2. Which project?
3. In what capacity?
4. What state and/or county?
If you are not currently a volunteer listed with either of these projects,
but you would like to be, please advise the AB rep for that location with
the following information:
1. Your name
2. Email address
3. Which project you would be interested in, i.e., Archives or TP
4. Which state and/or county you would want to help with
This information will provide us an opportunity to give assistance to these
projects.
Truly, I don't know if any of this will help, but we need to try. The
Archives and the TP Projects both hold lots of valuable information that no
one would want to lose. Let's not let these projects suffer and get them
the help that they need.
As always, thank you for all you do for The USGenWeb Project in whatever
capacity you volunteer.
