Thank you. Apology accepted. I want to work with everyone, so I will NOT
be unsubbing you. I think we can get great things done together here.
Hopefully, this is the push that is needed. Thanks.

I am very sorry that you feel I have attacked you and the AB. Until I
pushed further I wasn't getting any answers. You finally gave me some
answers and that was all I hoped to get to understand the situation.
If you feel that I am making attacks, then please unsubscribe me from the
lists so you won't have to listen to me.
My apologies

Just so everyone knows, I never have a problem with trying to give anyone
else answers to questions that I might have the answers to. However, if I
feel that I am being attacked, or that the AB is being attacked, I will
never just roll over and take it. I do not lay down to get walked on. I
don't try to start problems with anyone. I try to solve problems, and I
believe I have solved numerous problems while I've been the NC of this
project. I have no desire for this Project to fail or cease to exist, and
I don't believe there is anyone on the AB that wants that either. However,
I will stand up and defend myself and the AB. I wholeheartedly believe in
this project or, 2 weeks after having cancer surgery, I certainly would not
have attended a national FGS Conference every day in Fort Lauderdale, FL,
and I certainly would not fly to Raleigh, NC to attend another one and
spend my money to do so.
But if anyone thinks I'm going to just lay down and get walked on when
someone is upset about something in this project, think again. I'm
certainly not into self-abuse but there are times when it feels like I'm
supposed to take abuse.
If there is something wrong in this project, I try to get it fixed. I'm
not perfect, and I certainly do not know everything and I'm the first one
to admit that I don't know everything, but I am open to information, ideas
and suggestions.
I always try to be cooperative and work well with everyone but don't come
at me like I'm hiding things or telling lies or anything else. Everyone I
know thinks I'm honest to a fault, and the truth be told, that is probably
true. So I generally err on the side of being too truthful with people.
If you want something from me, just ask. But ask in a way that has me
WANT to help. Don't accuse me of anything, because you could get some
unvarnished truth that you might not want to hear. If anything, I shoot
right from the hip, and I know that some folks don't like that, but if
someone wants to be untactful with me, they could get the same back.
I want everything in this project to be successful otherwise I would
certainly not have entered my name in the hat again for NC just to take
abuse from anyone for any reason. You all just need to know that.
I have known some folks in this project whose commitment was to see this
project fail and cease to exist. We have not been having those problems
for several years now, and my goal is that we are here as long as possible,
so I will fight to protect it as long as I am a member of this project.
If you need help with something, just ask. If you have a question about
something that I may have the answer to, just ask. That's what I am here
for. And to help the project grow.
Let's see what can be done to help the Archives and the TP Project.
Quibbling over who did what when doesn't help anything. Threatening to
never place anything in the archives again isn't the answer either.
Everyone can choose to send contribution of data to the Archives or to a
state or a county, or even both. And I don't care what has gone on in the
past, I just want us all to have a successful project. So let's just
concentrate on that.
So, let's just see what we can do to help the Archives and the TP Project
and get things back on track instead of attacking me or the Project. That
certainly does not help anyone or anything, and it doesn't help preserve
all the hard work that contributors have made to the Archives or the TP
Project or those who want to contribute and haven't been able to.
Hopefully, this is the impetus to get those special projects back on
track.
Thanks.
