Gail,
My will instructs what to do in the event of my demise. Hubby and I have a
copy, executor has a copy and the original is at my attorney's office. My
will also states that hosting will be paid for at the end of the current
contract year for one year after that. This gives everyone time to retrieve
what is theirs or decide to keep it as it is very inexpensive.
My husband has a notarized letter of instructions in the event I am
incapacitated and can not make decisions for my self. My host allows for an
account manager and since only genweb county sites are all that is on this
particular domain name, my FLGenWeb SC is the named account manager, not
the person, but the Office holder at the time of my death, they will have
to send identification as required by the host company to assume control.
I have offered an ftp account to all my SC's, no takers thus far!

The CC had all the information on her server. I know of some of the

that site. But, I have lost contact with them too but can try and see if
they are still living. What I see is when a lot of us started this we were
in our 40's - 50's and time has moved on. I can speak for myself.
I can give all my passwords to another person for the sites I have on RW
but sites that are on private servers will never be accessed to retrieve
the information.
Another question, those of us who have our states on another server besides
RW how are you handling it as far as passwords. Example: My name is on
the server as the owner, my account information is on the server as the
payee, but all the state information is on this server, so how is access
passed on if I should pass? I have to start thinking about leaving access
for others too.
