Archived messages are still there just that they had to move the
archives off the servers first before converting the underlying software
can to be installed in new servers and install the archived messages in
new servers then they can move all other programming more quickly from
old servers. Archived messages take up much larger real estate.
No posts are lost, they are saved awaiting the move to be completed.
