Good job Laverne!
It shows that you really care about your group. I think I have only had to delete one post
in the past year as well, and I booted the person posting it out. She later protested that
her son had accessed her FB account and posted the porn, but since she never really
participated in the group herself, we didn't allow her back in.

I have encountered those type of profiles when vetting prospective group
members they usually cause a my fakdar to go off, IF they actually get
sent a message, they usually don't respond, if they do respond they don't
provide verifiable information. Yes it can take an hour or two to properly
vette prospective member, but it pays off the end. We have had to remove
but a handful of people in the 4 years the group has existed!!
We are not ted in being the largest group, just the best one for Florida
Pioneer Genealogy Research. In 4 years we have grown to 850+ members and
have not had to remove an inappropriate post in over a year.

Speaking of "Fake Profiles" - - on one of the county sites
that I admin, we
noticed an unusual amount of posts that all have the following
similarities:
1) When they post, it's always an interesting genealogy tip post with a
link to a page for the tip. They never add a comment on the post.
2) The genealogy tip didn't originate on the URL linked to and it's usually
just "part of" the genealogy tip, although that linked page does include a
link to the original post where the full-tip is located. If you scroll down
on the right of the first link, there are usually what I consider sort-of
objectionable advertising photos with links.
3) In their FB Profile, they usually have a pretty female's portrait as the
profile photo with a black background across the top.
4) In their FB Profile on "More" they do not show what other GROUPS they
are in.
5) In their FB Profile, they all have many male friends with mostly foreign
names that I couldn't begin to pronounce.
6) In their FB Profile, they are usually from Calif, Florida, Georgia
7) They all seem to be friends with a common fake-profile that fits most of
the items on this list except she has an old family-group photo as her
profile photo.
At this point we are not sure what their intention is, possibly the fake
profiles all originated from one person or a few people that get paid for
click-throughs to the advertised sites they are linking to.
