I am looking for information on Charles COLLINS b. about 1874 in Benton
Co AR and moved to Texas working on the railroad around 1900 time frame.
He lived in Floresville in 1929 according to his sister's obituary.
He had one arm and at least one son whom I think was named Charles.
Does anyone have access to the census records for Wilson Co that might be
able to check on him for me?
His father was Francis Warren COLLINS b. in Ohio and
his mother was Ellen Elizabeth BURRIS [BURROW] b. in Benton Co AR.
Thanks for any help.

Hi...I am looking for information on a W. [William] J. Morris in La Vernia.
He was attending the Baptist San Antonio Assoc. meeting there in Aug. 1872,
at the Cibolo Church. Is that church still standing, if so could some kind
soul there please check to see if there is any info on W. J. Morris, and his
wife Cassandra Ruth? Trying to find where they lived in 1872 and where
Cassandra died and is buried. All help appreciate.

Hi, I am researching my gr-gr grandparents (Eugene G. Morris and Docie Ann Wade Morris). If you find any connections to a Morris family in your area around 1880 I would appreciate any and all information and leads. I found where my gr-gr grandfather's sister put a personal ad in the Gonzales newspaper (it showed Wilson County as residence) around 1881. Her initials were used which were A.O. (Alief Ozelda). Since she was a teacher so I am thinking probably she was advertising for a tutoring position. Also, their mother (Cassandra R. Morris) died between the years of 1870 and 1880. They were located in Fayette county census in 1870, then gr-gr grandfather was in Bexar county for 1880 census as a widower. He was a teacher also and taught at a school in Refugio County in that same time frame. I also saw where another sister had a wedding announcement in the same newspaper. She married a Magee or McGee. If anyone has any information at all regarding this family, I would!
be so very grateful. Thanks D Klein deani(a)ktc.com
