Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.

For anyone that might be interested: I was talking with someone that worked at a funeral home in Pecos about an ancestor that died in 1969. She mentioned that it was her understanding that the Fairview cemetery records had burned and, to her understanding there were no real cemetery records available. She said that the only records that they have are the records that have been given to them by people. I don't know how accurate this information is, maybe someone on this list knows more.
She also commented that she thought that the clerk had the cemetery records, but I don't think that she really knew for sure.
