How about the song "We Sing the Harvest Song? "
I may have that- have some books in English and Norwegian, some owned by
Bosque - McLennan County Behringer family. Need some time on this one.
Also, has the History capsule in Cornerstone of old First Methodist been
opened? It's past time , isn't it- or am I a few years early? Great Aunt
Susie Moxley was in Tarleton when it became a State School and I think
her letters say she witnessed the sealing of the Capsule- but she
attended Tarleton some in Summers in Teen years of last Century- Maybe
before. Seems I heard the song in a Community Ecumenical Thanksgiving in
West, Texas while I taught there.
Aunt Susie was Baptist, some cousins were Methocist, and her Grandmother
Mary Murphy (Maiden Name) was Old Country Catholic who attended Selden
Baptist Church Aunt Susie had Quaker quotes in her letters. The first
Wyl;y immigrants were also Quaker.
