Sibyll Ann Smallwood worked at Tarleton in the early 1910's. Her name is
inscribed on the back of a plaque on the cannon or something. She was later
secretary to Earl Means , and married him when she was in her 40's.
They lived down on the coast.
Ray Parr and she were childhood sweethearts and married in their 80's after
their first spouses died. At the time Sibyll died (the 1980's) both Tom and
Virginia were still living. (Ray Parr was my wife's grandfather.

Robert came to Texas with is father when he was a young man of twenty
(1884). He went back north and stayed a year or two, only to return to
Texas to spend the remainder of his life.
After marriage, they went to Dublin, where he worked as a carpenter,
returning later to Hickey Community where they made their home except
for one year when they were located at Hasse.
In 1893 he became a member of the Baptist Church and soon afterwards
starting preaching for the Oak Grove Baptist Church on Alarm Creek. He
was a minister there for many years and was serving as minister of
Washington Street Baptist Church in Stephenville, TX at the time of his
