Hi, Gloria,
Jesse James was b. 5 Sept. 1847, near Kearney, Clay Co., MO. Whatever
schooling he had was near there. He was the son of Rev. Robert James, a
Baptist minister. The Rev. James helped found Jewell College at Liberty, MO.

I was wondering if any of you would know about where the famous JESSE JAMES
attended school in MO.??
I was told that MILES ERVIN( b 1839 somewhere in MO died in DUBLIN,Tex
1899 ) had said he attended school with JESSE JAMES. So I am hoping if I
can find where that school was, then it would be the clue to where our
Miles
lived and hopefully discover who his parents and siblings were. We have
a
1880 Johnson Co census of him and wife Annie Grissom and children. Gloria
