The Mt. Zion Cemetery is a hard place to get to and I believe that
a church there that served the area. If you draw a line from Huckabay to
Lingleville, I think (please note THINK) that Mt. Zion would be about at the
halfway point, but further north, perhaps even more north than Huckabay.
The current _The Roads of Texas_ show Mt. Zion in it. Take 210 west out of
Huckabay to County road 403. Take County road 403 North and West to where
County road 398 ends at 403. Mt. Zion is on the east side of the "T"
intersection. If you have GPS it's 321836N 0982421W. You can find aerial
views of the area on Terra server using those coordinates.
The best thing one can have for finding rural cemeteries in Texas is _The
Roads of Texas_. The only caveat is some counties in implementing 911
emergency call service are changing the County road numbers. The roads are
there but the numbers may be different from those on the maps.
