Fred,
First of all, I will give you a big hug... this is the latest custom on
USGenWeb-ALL and reduces some of the tensions there.
Now Fred, it was you who made the claim *here* on TNGEN-L that
TNGenWeb is technically separate from USGenWeb. That is a blatant
political statement and one that I take great offense to.
If you want to take it to TNCHAT-L (as you have), that is fine with me... but
please don't make such obviously political statements here and not expect to
get a response at least from me.
I have been with USGenWeb and TNGenWeb from Day 1 (in fact, I was asked to
start TNGenWeb) and have some strong feelings about this project.

George et al,
Well, George, I am going to make an assumption here. That assumption is
that when you say "Lincoln Co TN does not consider itself separate from
USGenWeb, technically or otherwise," you are really expressing your own
personal opinion.
Invite you to visit our state home page and at the bottom you will find
links to both the Charter and Bylaws of TNGenNet Inc.

While I believe that these two documents do make us "technically (and
legally) separate, the discussion of these matters should occur on our
TNCHAT mailing list.
Therefore, I will respond more fully there, but not right away. I am
about to go stepping out with my wife, and she rates higher than
political missives.
