Haven't added anything of consequence to Obion Co, except updating queries and
repairing links. BUT have and am working with several people who found me thru Obion
TNGenWeb Pages and Jane's Home Page to find other branches of their family. It seems
that I tend to "collect" everyone up and down and sideways who's connected
to anyone connected to me ... and the rewarding part is the joy of knowing these families
have found each other. Last Friday ...May 22, met in Dyersburg with a guy from New
Hampshire,
his mother from Miami, and his aunt and my 3rd cousin ... and it never would have happened
before internet, TNGenWeb, and email. Another email began, "I've spent seventeen
years looking for this link. Thank you .... thought I was at a dead end." And this
was just a tiny bit of information that gave her a lead to find what she really needed. I
haven't kept many of these emails, but I wish I had ... and made a special page for
the sucesses. Wouldn't that have been neat!
