Crusie J. Richardson
Crusie James Richardson, 80, 195 Big Sandy Road, Elizabethton, died Sunday,
April 16, 2006, at his residence.
Mr. Richardson was a native of Carter County and a son of the late Raymond
and Bertie Ward Richardson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in
death by his wife, Clara Richardson.
Mr. Richardson was a retired painter and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Maxine Richardson of Wisconsin; a son, Jimmy
Richardson of Wisconsin; two grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Berry and Ethel
Taylor, both of Elizabethton; a brother, Herman Richardson, Elizabethton;
several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Myrtle Estep.
Funeral services for Mr. Richardson will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday,
April 17, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ricky Potter officiating.
Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, in the
Taylor Cemetery. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the
cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, will be Mike Richardson, William Berry, Jack
Berry, Scotter Berry, David Taylor, Shaun Crowe, Tony Carden and Vaughn
Carrier. Honorary pallbearers will be Bert Carden, Cona Carden, Tim Carden, Kim
Richardson, Ricky Berry, Johnny Berry, Etzel Richardson Jr., Jessee Richardson,
Jerry Richardson, Johnny Richardson, J.D. Ward, Lockett Carden, J.L. Stout, Rob
Greer and Justin Richardson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Monday at the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence. Family and
friends will assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday. Online condolences

Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
