Lucyle B. Greenlee
Lucyle Buck Greenlee, 86, 2090 Dave Buck Road, Johnson City, died Friday,
March 17, 2006, in the Hermitage Health Care Center. A native of Carter County,
she was the daughter of the late James B. and Connie Berry Buck. Mrs. Greenlee
was a homemaker and a member of Hopwood Memorial Christian Church but attended
Central Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death
by her husband, William F. Greenlee in January 2005; two sisters, Ethel Hyder
and Evelyn Turbyfield; and three brothers, Kyle, Steve and Ben Buck.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Nancy Greenlee of
Johnson City and one daughter and son-in-law, Molly and Bob Glover of
Elizabethton; five grandchildren, Michael and Adam Greenlee and Leslie, Rob and
Brian Glover; several nieces and nephews; and two special nieces, Tommie
Turbyfield and Dolores Hart.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2006, in
Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. Todd Wolfe, officiating. Graveside and
interment will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Monte Vista Burial Park. Music will be
provided by John Williams, soloist, and Scott Reynolds, organist. Active
pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral chapel at 10:15 a.m.
Monday will be Michael Greenlee, Adam Greenlee, Rob Glover, Brian Glover, Bill
Turbyfield, Tom Turbyfield and Skip Hendrix. Honorary pallbearers will be
Dayton Harrell, Bill Ritchie, Joe Turbyfield and Frank Lusk. The family will
receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral chapel prior to the service
hour. Friends may also call at the residence of her daughter, Molly Glover, 653
Golf Course Drive at any time. Memorial donations may be made to the Central
Church of Christ Building Fund, 137 Hopson Road, Johnson City, TN 37601. Online
