This location is probably a small place in Hjälmseryd parish where the
wedding took place. It looks something like Skräddarebo och
Skräddare is a tailor so maybe it is a place where some tailor lives. Och =
The location after 'och' looks similar in many ways to the location found in
HFL at GID # 1092.20.32000, although that location had an "i something"
following it. I think the son-in-law (måg) moved from that location in the
upon marriage to Ingeborg.
I think you need to look in Hjälmseryd and hopefully there is an ortregister
to use for guidance.
The Rosenberg CD doesn't help find these locations, so I assume they are
Well, I think I found it. in the marriage record 1092.10.83700 I think it
says, Skräddarebo in Slätthög, (Kronoberg) which actually makes a little sense,
since Sven's son Gustaf moves back and forth between Hjälmseryd and Slätthög.
So I looked at the closest HFL to the marriage date and I think I actually
see Sven & Ingeborg and daughter Cajsa. Take a look at 842.17.18000 and see if
you see what I think I see. Sven is below the first family which is crossed
off. There is a statement after his name but I'm not sure what it says.
