Hej Bob -
Sorry, I could not find a likely match on either Emigranten or Emibas.
Bear in mind that there are other possible reasons you cannot find them
on the 1900 census. For one thing, the transcription of the 1900 census
is not yet complete. Also, one or both of the parents may have died
before 1900 (life expectancies then were not what they are today). Or
they may have simply been omitted by mistake. I have one family in my
tree that does not show up on the 1890 census CD because they registered
out of a parish before the census date but did not register in to the
parish they moved to until January 1891.
Good luck in your search -
There was an older brother, Carl Edvard b.1845 in Östra Eneby,
Östergotlands. The 1890 census found him living in Jönköpings with his
wife, Hilda Oskara Elisabeth ÅHGREN b.1844 and five children. I
checked the 1900 census for the family this morning, but they
"disappeared" suggesting they emigrated as well.
