I'm glad that some one is interested because I was tickled to death.
1 - I had found a letter from a relative that stated the person had died about a yr ago
and she couldn't remember where she was from, this was 1999 (of course :)
2 - I asked someone for a look up from the death cd for around 1998 and near where the
family was from
3 - I asked this person how to find where to send for an obit. She informed me that there
was the estate inventories. She told me where to send for ones in the Kalmar area.
4 - I e-mailed them with the name and death record number and asked how to proceed. I
received an e-mail the next day that it was received. Of course I was prepared to wait
forever like you do in the states for info. Well by the next week the package came. My
contact told me a little but you could tell that she was getting a little tired of my
project so I didn't pursue anymore. I really appreciated everything that she did but
you can only ask so much of people
5 - I e-mailed them tonight and asked them what the procedure was for payment is because I
sure want to send for more. I'll let you know the answear.
6 - he big thing is that I have all of these lovely papers but what all do they say. They
do have the people in the will named and the children that it would be passed down to.
What a gold mine. I just would love to find out what the rest of the will states. But
that goes again with just how much you can ask of people.
This is the site that I used.
