They said his mother's name is Anna Jönsdotter and his
father is Johan Andersson
Steneby C:2 births 1702-1741 page 243 (GID 806.15.1000)
Birth number 44 (1725)
The 11th February was born Pehr Andersson's and wife Anna
Jönsdotter's child at Stora Hafden(?) and was baptised the 12th
of the same month, and was called Bryngell. Male witnesses:...
The father's name definitely looks like Pehr, not Jan or Johan.
There is an unnanmed child born as number 44 1726, 11 Dec to Jon
Svensson and wife Karin Olofsdotter at Östra(??) Hafden(?).
The oldest Steneby HFL is Steneby AI:1 1779-1792, there is an
Brygel Jonsson at Stora Hafden on page 25 (GID 806.1.80000), but
he was born 1746:
- Bryngel Jonsson, born 1746.
- wife Sara Bryngelsdotter, born 1754.
- daughter Ingrid, born 1778.
- girl Anna Bryngelsdotter, born 1770.
Is this the Bryngel Jonsson you are looking for? I see neither
him nor his wife in the Steneby birth book for 1746 or 1754.
