This record shows Smångs Per Andersson (born 22 March 1830 in Leksand, Kopparberg) and his
wife Brita Larsdotter moving to Gustafs on 6 May 1890. Their daughter Carin goes to
I didn’t find Per and Brita in Gustafs, Kopparberg (Ancestry doesn’t have any moving in
records, but I did scroll through the HFLs for the time period).

I’m trying to help someone who is trying to track down Per in America (King County,
Washington) where he supposedly witnessed his son’s marriage (Peter Lind) in 1890.
(The signature on the certificate is P Anderson - which could be someone other than
It’s possible that Per traveled to America as did two of his other children (Anders
Persson, and Carin “Petterson” [on emigration] “Lind” [on her marriage record in 1890).
The son Anders returned to Sweden. (I found his moving in record).
I don’t know if Per went to America because I can’t find him leaving, but I did find him
in the Swedish Death Index:

Can anyone locate him on the 1890 or 1900 Swedish Census (Gustafs, Kopparberg or
Siljansnäs). Wife Brita Larsdotter was born in 1834.
