The son Karl August has two remarks:
1. arb. b. (arbetsbetyg = work certificate) 6/5 86 (6 May 1886)
This was like a moving-out certificate issued when someone temporarily
left the parish to work, or look for work.
2. Inskr. nr. 115 119/1885 = registered [as conscript] number 115 in
area 119 year 1885.
And he has marks in both "Bevistat beväringsmöte" (attended military
training meeting) columns, meaning he had done both 1st and 2nd year's

Thank you Bo & Norman. I had looked at that reference before and I
looked at the Church records a dozen times, but now I clearly see
what I missed. I see a section for Beväringsmöte and Bevistat.
They are both marked and the note:
arb. b. 6/5 8h Inskr. pr 155 119/1885 (or something like that)
So my ancestor was drafted and served in the Beväringen prior to
emigrating. I'm very happy to finally see this. I guess I was
fixated on all the Baptist information such as odöpt and ej konf.
