The "spreadsheet" you refer to I put together from a Film
records of births, marriages and deaths from Gardslosa, Kalmar, Sweden. I have
endeavoured to send it to everyone who has asked for it, but as an
excel spreadsheet is quite a large file (even though it doesn't have a huge
amount of records on it) I have to send it to each person separately and I
have had difficulty getting it through to some people.
If these names or parish do not relate to your area of research then it is
not worth requesting the spreadsheet. I had just thought that if it
assisted one person, then the work was worth it.
Have you thought of posting the file on a web page, either in html for people to read or
for download? There are lots of free sites out there, and you would only have to fool
around with it once instead of trying to send it to several people. If it were up on a
page to be read, lots of people would have access to it. If you'd like help with this,
let me know and I'll do what I can to help you out. You're right--it would be
a shame to let your hard work go to waste--it should be out where people can access it.
