in the town of Rockneby, which lies on the mainland just across from the
island of Öland, about 10 kilometers north of Kalmar. There are 34 parishes
on the island of Öland.

Swedish names end in son or dotter meaning the daughter or son of the
person listed at the beginning of the name Jansdotter, is Janas daughter.
