Thanks Gay and all the othjers who have expressed their sympathies, concerns
and wishes, its a tuff siutaion back home where the relief operations are
underway and the people behind it r grappling with whatever means and
resources available within a shattered infrastructure, corpses, and debris.
We have a tremendous job to do and need to do it ASAP too.
The int community hs responed marvelously and we hope more aid will pour in
as the job is a big one that may even take years to successfully achieve.
Thanks again and may God Bless you all for your kindness and sincerety and
love in thiese trying times of great need, pain and suffering.

please accept my heartfelt sorrow for our people
I know that like you, I am likely to also have descendants of my Sri Lankan
ancestors who have been affected.
And there is a massive push for donations wherever I go, all aimed at
assisting those devastated areas..
My prayers are with you..
