Where do you get the information from these organizations? And how
did you verify that they were reputable?
I have yet to find any information anywhere in Sri Lanka about
verifying any organization's legitimacy, and I've been looking. It
seems almost impossible to get unbiased opinions. Is there a
governing body that audits the financial records each year? And if
so, are they a government body or an independent body?
I have many many people asking me about who to donate to, and so far,
all I've been able to tell them is to donate to western relief because
corruption is so bad in this country. If there's a better way, I'd
like to know about it.
I emailed you off-list about it, but didn't get a response. Perhaps
I'll get one here?
