Had a very quick look in the Times Newspaper.. Not sure if if is your
chap or his son, given that he was born in 1822, so I would assume maybe
his son (or not even related?)
Charles Edward Pyster was awarded a ISO (Imperial Service Order) in 1913
He was a Superintendent in the Foreign Department Government of India.

This is the first time I have posted to this list.
I was wondering if anyone could help me with advice etc as to how I could find out
anything about my GGG Grandfather.
All I know is:
His name was Charles Edward Pyster and he was born on the 2nd November 1822 in Colombo.
I have no idea of his parents or if any siblings etc.
I am unable to trace back any further as that is where it ends. Can someone please advise
me or help me in being able to shed some light on this part of our family. My mother is
close to 80yrs old and I would love to be able to tell her of some news on her GG
Many many thanks
