Re Church of England Bishop contact information, I am sorry I do not have
the Email address any longer as it was lost when my hard drive crashed last
year, however, all I did was go to the Church of England web site and then
to the contact us page below......I then sent an Email requesting the name
and Email address for the Bishop of Sri Lanka.......I was answered by his
secretary who did the search for me and then mailed a hard copy of the
information I was seeking.
I hope this helps

You're quite right about no replies from the records office in Sri Lanka.
Over the past few years I've emailed & also written several 'proper
to them, with no response at all.
My G Grandfather was born there in 1847/8 [Point de Galle] and I would
to find his birth record in order to find out who his Mother was. My G G
Grandfather was a planter, which makes it even more difficult.
Would appreciate a contact address for the Bishop if you still have it.
