Thank you so much for looking.
I'm pretty sure the surname is Schoorman as all family members since the early
1800's have this spelling. There are also some very early records in Sri Lanka with
the same spelling but I'm missing anthing to connect these ones to the ones I have
from early to mid 1800's. The Schoorman's seem to have started out in Jaffna so
this might explain the gap in records.
Unfortunately I don't have any LH Anthonisz either.

It lists gravestones seen on a recent tour of old graveyards and western
churches in Colombo by the author. The book is available to buy from her
