My father's aunt Ethel married a David Manzie Atwell (I presume in Ceylon)
and they ended up in Malaya. They were both Burghers. He was a rubber
planter, and they lived in Kuala Lumpur all through the Japanese occupation.
They had four daughters.
I have been given contact details for one of the daughters and have been
meaning to phone her up; when I do I will ask her what she knows and pass it
on. I know that one of the daughters is still living in KL.
They must be connected with your line. I always thought Manzie Atwell was a
