Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Hello all. I'm writing to this list in the hope that some kind soul can
point me in the right direction to obtain a copy of a birth certificate
for my grandfather, William Edward SADLEIR.
According to both his wedding and death certificates, he was born in
Ceylon in 1876, the second son of his Irish-born parents William Martley
SADLEIR and Mary Augusta Elizabeth MITCHELL. The family subsequently
moved to Australia and settled there.
I have already asked this question of what I believe to be the relevant
government department, but after 6 months, I have had no reply.
Thanks in advance for any information received,
This was sent to me so I am passing it on.

I have noticed that a number of parts of my family tree have been
included on the site http://www.rootsweb.com/~lkawgw/index2.html
as burgerfamilies. There branches of my family tree have no connection
e.g. Family 1096 Thomas Chamberlain
Family 1094 Joseph Moret.
It would be interesting to know who placed these records on the site and
why. Note that at no time have I ever given permission for my records
to be placed on this site.
