Yes, I saw your message earlier about contacting staff directly, but
I had no idea that the index had to be ordered - I have the one for
volume 25, and as that appeared long ago, I have no recollection of
how it got on my shelf.
The purpose of this list is, in my understanding, to discuss matters
genealogical, and/or of a society nature, and your answer actually
gave me the very answer I wanted, albeit a bit on the brief side - it
appears I didn't get mine, 'cos I didn't ask for it......
Now if I could just find out where I ask, and whether I have to pay,
etc. I would be in good shape. I suppose I will just have to read
through my GMs more carefully (gives self large slap on wrist). I
don't think I can wait until I next jet into England, as they will
probably be out of stock.

As I have said before it would be better to ask the staff this sort
question as I do not know if Pickard or anyone else ordered a copy
index - if he did not telling him that the index was posted before
does not solve his problem and he still has to contact the
