I somehow suspect that Julian Duffus didn’t try sitting in that comfy chair for any time.
I can remember using it as a committee chairman and it was not right for me – different
people fit different chairs!! It was getting very tatty as far as the upholstery is/was
concerned and took up a disproportionate amount of space, especially with the arrival of
the Jewish society material.
I actually never saw it used in the last couple of years.

Subject: [SOG-UK] Well done folks
I was thrilled to see the works on the ground floor are progressing well upon my last
visit on Saturday we entered down the side corridor exiting by the stairs as the book shop
and reception area where being worked on .
The trustees and staff must be commended for getting on with improvements and we are
looking forward to the time when the mormons films arrive .
Just a small gripe I saw that the comfy looking leather arm chair that was long to be seen
in the common room and reserved for use of an elderly member is currently in the storage
corridor , let's have brought back to the common room, where it would be of more use.
