I got to the Society today so had a look for both the birth and
marriage you asked for. I'm afraid I couldn't see either, sorry.

The lack of a marriage does not come as a surprise, but the lack of the
birth certificate does. The child, Margaret Katherine Langton MARTIN, used
various combinations of the forenames but the same surname through life to
death but always claimed to have been born on Guernsey saying.
In view of the circumstances of her birth and the life she lived later she
may have been registered under another name or not registered at all. It
is back to the drawing board and the search goes on.
