Hi Cliff,I'm sorry that your invite was not recognized by us too!! I have been to the
Quadrangle and enjoyed touring the museums and taking pictures of the Dr. Seuss characters
in the courtyard. We visited the museums after we attended the Big E one year. It was a
great time. Your alternate to the Big E is a GREAT suggestion and I would recommend that
anyone who is not terribly excited about the BIG E, this would be a wonderful alternative.
Maybe you could tell us a bit more about what to expect at your facility. Thanks for
working to make this a truly memorable reunion!! Deb
I was disappointed to see that my invitation, sent nearly a month ago, was not included
in the Reunion information. See below.
We have a terrific genealogical research facility in the new Wood Museum of Springfield
History that I would hate for our members to miss the opportunity to check it out. The
perfect time would be on the afternoon of Day One for those who don't want to go to
the Big E.
Let me know if I can help get the word out.

Hi, Sackett-folks.I am a new member and Sackett descendant, looking forward to the reunion
in September, but I also am the archivist at the Lyman & Merrie Wood Museum of
Springfield History -- part of the complex of museums at the Quadrangle in Springfield,
Mass. I just wanted to invite your members to think about visiting our place prior to the
reunion. We have the best genealogical and local history collection in western Mass. and
we are just a short drive from Westfield. We have lots of Sackett history going back to
the early days of Springfield. We're open Tuesdays thru Fridays, 11 a.m. - 4
p.m.Also, I'd be happy to assist members with their research questions, if they want
to drop me an email at:firstname.lastname@example.orgThanks, and I look forward to
meeting some of you in Westfield.Cliff McCarthy
