I have done a lot of work on the Daniel Sacket line of Westfield as I
descend from one of his twin son's Asher. (Before go further--think it is
wonderful that you are transcribing the records) Asher was the twin of Gad
that has been left out of the book. Have sent Thurmon some of the copies
(scanned). Made copies of the LDS microfilm of the actual records #0185474
which was Westfield Marriage -births Vol B 1774=1800 and some deaths and LDS
microfilm #0185469 which is the records of the Church of Christ of
Westfield.1679-1836. Lot of good it does anyone sitting in my file cabinet.
Made copies of all that pertained to Sackett and mailed copies to Fred
Sackett. Thurmon did put this information on his web. You are correct.
Weygant made mistakes in this group. If can figure out how to attach would
send you my file on my Westfield Sackets. Everything I have, have
documentation for-not off the web. Oh, the Daniel Sackett that I descend
from was married to Mary Weller. My Asher was a brother to the Daniel that
you are working on. So, if you back up from your Daniel, you will find
errors in Weygant on the children of Daniel Sr 1693-1776. Asher had a son
named Daniel born 1786. So there are 3 Daniel's there may be more in that
time frame that you will find. Sorry have not had much time to work on
Sacketts lately and will not for awhile, however, am so pleased with the
people that are working on this line and trying to get it right. I retired
and have found that don't know how I ever worked as have never been busier
or poorer. Right now am trying to complete a book on 7 men (Family name
Hare) in the Civil War.

Ted, I don't know if the Westfield Town Records have been
would surely welcome that project if it hasn't been done. This is the
perfect site to post it. Patty B
